Australia Adventure

We arrived here here on Wednesday the 19th of September and were met at the airport by President and Sister Scruggs. We have been assigned to work in the Emu Plains Ward and the Leura Ward which is located in the Blue Mountains.
We think we have found a place to live. The mission will put in an application for us to lease this home in Springwood which is up the mountain from Emu Plains. It is possible that we won't get this place but the big thing is that it has ducted air conditioning and heat which is unusual. Most places do not have heating and air or they just have a unit in one of the rooms. They say that there are wallibies that live out in the bush in the canyon in back of this duplex.

Talked to Tiffany this morning to see if she had heard from you. It looks like you have arrived safe and sound. Hopefully the packages also arrived intact.

The house looks nice (if you got it); the brush looks scary....
Hopefully the house has more than 1 bedroom. Thinking about coming out over the holidays......if I don't go back to Costa Rica.

The house is fine --- I'm going by every other day to make sure the mail is picked up. I'm slowly getting my things together to move over... I did take my chaise lounge over and sat on the patio for 2-3 hours yesterday and read the newspaper.... Nice!

Keep us up to date.

Sandi

By the way --- what is it with the "white" jacket? I thought the dress code was "dark and boring"???

The place looks really cute! I hope you get it. So good to talk to you today. The boys were excited that you had called. You'll have to talk to them next time. Let us know if you get the place.
P.S. Can I come with Sandi for the holidays?!
